HP has just become aware of a potential issue that could occur when loading or unloading media rolls on these unwinders and rewinders. HP is investigating an incident where the shaft that drives the load arms broke while a paper roll was being loaded. This caused the load-arms and paper to immediately drop to the ground and the paper roll to start rolling. HP takes all safety matters seriously, and thus is communicating this to customers while HP continues to investigate this incident. All operators should exercise caution when loading media rolls.
